Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us to celebrate the 5-Year Anniversary of the Rise+Shine Josiah Mika Foundation.
Hearing firsthand from our partners, community leaders, and whānau about the difference being made in the lives of tamariki, rangatahi, and families was both humbling and inspiring. It is a true privilege to walk alongside young people, their families, and the incredible community leaders who champion hope, wellbeing, and opportunity every day.
We were especially honoured by the beautiful performance from the Papatoetoe High School Samoan Group, whose energy, culture, and talent uplifted everyone in the room. Fa’afetai tele lava for sharing your gifts with us.
As we gathered, we also reflected on the journey that began with our beloved Josiah. Six years on from his passing, his light continues to shine through the collective efforts of so many people committed to helping others rise above adversity and thrive
